We welcome you to the Arcane Hierarchy, an organisation dedicated to preserving and protecting the hidden magical history of our world. We are honoured to reward your curiosity and puzzle-solving instincts by inviting you to explore this website and learn more about us.
As you may know, the current restrictions on magic and magicians are in place to prevent the spread of the dangerous disease known as the Ruin, which destroyed our world centuries ago and which still can be contracted by active practitioners of magic. However, we at the Arcane Hierarchy serve under the guidance and authority of Firefly City’s great ruler Storm, through our leader the Monochrome, and believe that it is crucial to preserve the knowledge and artefacts of our magical past, even as we ourselves do not practise magic.
Through this website, you will receive updates on our initiatives, including the recording, archiving, and occasional exhibition of magical records and relics. You may also be called upon to assist in these efforts, should your skills and expertise be needed.
We understand that membership in the Arcane Hierarchy comes with a great deal of responsibility, and we thank you for your dedication to our cause. We look forward to working with you to uncover and protect the hidden magic of our world, while protecting our fellow kin from its dangers.
